Code Blu: A Call to Action to Help Sick Sea Lions

Like many of you, I was horrified to hear that someone poisoned 17 rescued sea lions who were being rehabilitated by the Pacific Marine Mammal Center in Laguna Beach, CA. It’s been a record-breaking year already with the high number of stranded and starving sea lions up and down the coast needing assistance.  This rescue facility has been operating at maximum capacity and was due to release those particular sea lions back in the ocean soon.  This malicious act was caused by humans and I would love your human help to turn a negative situation into a positive!

This is a call to action to use social good and help the Center with their Wish List!
Items needed are:

  1. Postage Stamps
  2. Gas cards
  3. Amazon/Staples/OfficeMax gift cards

This call to action is for May 8th – May 15th 2015. You can send the items directly to the Center referencing #CodeBlu or if you are in Orange County, you can contact me and I would be happy to deliver the items for you.  It would be wonderful if any businesses or groups would like to help collect items and let me know when they are ready for pick up.

Let’s show some #ocean love and do some #SocialGood together!
